Network Rail are sending letters to residents close to the Aberdeen to Inverness rail line explaining preliminary site investigation works for the £170 million upgrade of the Aberdeen to Inverness rail line. These works will also facilitate the re-opening of a rail station in Kintore, expected in 2019.
