Councillors' responses to facilities in Kintore

Prior to the May 3 election, we asked the Kintore councillors – Nan Cullinane, Martin Ford and Fergie Hood – for comments about facilities in Kintore. In doing so we recognise that councillors might find it difficult to comment specifically about Gateway KIntore.

We shall publish the responses, when we receive them, below:

Expressing an opinion about the proposed development could mean councillors would have to declare and interest and be unable to vote on the Gateway Kintore development if it was to come before them for a planning decision. For that reason the comments are likely to be quite general.

Councillor Nan Cullinane says:

“I’ve lived and worked in Kintore for a number of years and have seen the village grow in size. As more and more houses have and will be built there is definite need for more community facilities, which I feel Kintore and the surrounding area's could benefit from.”

No response yet received to our invitation for comments to Councillors Martin Ford and Fergie Hood.
