Kintore Youth Forum thanks community for support

The AGM of Action Kintore Ltd was held in Kintore School on the evening of Thursday 19 May and Directors took the opportunity to invite local businesses, Grampian Police and Aberdeenshire Council, to thank them for the support given to Kintore Youth Forum by financing the use of two rooms within Kintore Town House. A wooden plaque, with donors names, will have pride of place within the facility.  The plaque was kindly donated by Bill Beveridge of Kintore Trophy Centre and is seen being held by members of the Youth Forum.

It is vital that sufficient volunteers come forward to share the work needed to successfully build and operate The Bothie. This innovative and eco-friendly youth and community facility will be built on vacant ground in Allandale Gardens, and has already taken four years of planning and commitment by young people and Action Kintore members.

Building cannot start however until additional volunteers are found and the staffing issue resolved, so PLEASE contact Isobel Kendrick on 07754 706780 if you can offer any kind of voluntary support for the project.
