Flooding in Kintore

Following 24 hours of torrential rain – the tail end of tropical storm Danny we are told – the B977 to Hatton of Fintray is closed.
The flood water has created a new Loch of Kintore on the usual flood plain between Kintore Golf Club and Boat of Kintore, over the fields known as Breadies Haugh and Balbithan Island.
Looking to Kintore from Balbithan, with the golf clubhouse on the far left and the unreachable Bridge over the Don.
