Kintore Christmas tree becomes weather victim

The Christmas tree in The Square, Kintore, became one of the victims of the weather when it was blown down in the gales last night.
The hefty tree trunk was snapped and the tree now lies forlornly, complete with lights, across the Town House forecourt.
It’s a shame for the volunteers who put the tree up and they now face having to fix the tree and re-erect it for the lights switch-on a week on Saturday.
