Dr Nanette Milne, Conservative MSP for the North East has invited interested parties from Kintore to the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh for a meeting with Transport Minister, Stuart Stevenson MSP to discuss the possible reopening of Kintore Station.
Dr Milne secured the meeting after writing to Transport Minister, Stewart Stevenson MSP. Dr Milne has also invited representatives from Kintore Community Council, all North East Regional MSPs, and First Minister and Gordon MSP, Alex Salmond to attend.
“I welcome the agreement of the Transport Minister, Stewart Stevenson MSP to meet with me and other local community representatives to try to get the reopening of Kintore station back on track,” says Dr Milne. “The meeting has now been pencilled in for Wednesday 22nd April in the Scottish Parliament and I hope this will allow frank and open discussion on the possible reopening of Kintore Station.
