“Over the past two years, the business has grown about 30% and we are very positive about the future,” says Richard Cowling, director and joint owner of PDC Systems, “especially now that we have purpose-built facilities and an expanded team in place.”
The new half-acre base on the Craigearn Business Park at Kintore has been built with environmental advice from SCARF and Scottish Government agencies. It represents an investment of £600,000 by the family business.
The move has resulted in six new jobs immediately and the business expects to create five more jobs by the middle of 2009.
PDC Systems, established in 1993 by Richard and Pat Cowling, specialises in hazardous area control systems for the petrochemical industry, for use both on and offshore.
