Sunday stroll raises more than £4,000

Jim Thomson of Kintore Rotary has been working with members of Friends of St Andrews to organise a fundraiser and a sponsored Sunday Stroll involving Rotarians and staff, pupils and supporters of the School was held through Kintore Quarry on 8 May.

Despite the very wet and windy conditions, at least 120 walkers turned up and successfully completed the 3K walk. A staggering figure of £4102.56 was raised as a result of this initiative.

Thanks to Bardon Aggregates Manager for allowing the use of roads within the Quarry and to all who took part in the walk, or sponsored it.
