A planning application has been submitted for 30 houses on woodland and rough pasture at Gauch-hill, Kintore. The application is in the name of the Badentoy Trust, based at Midmill, Kintore.

The houses would be built around the outside of the existing Gauchhill cul-de-sac off Gauchhill Road adjoining the existing birch and pine forest. Access would be from a new road near the existing mini-roundabout at Gauch-hill.
