The rail line from Dyce to Aberdeen will be closed as part of the programme for doubling of the track between Aberdeen and Inverurie. This section of line will be closed from May 12 to August 20.
The second phase will be a similar closure next summer affecting the line from Dyce to Inverurie. This programme will include the installation of the new rail station at Kintore.
Ironically, of course, the line used to be double track and there also used to be a station in Kintore. So, effectively, the work will restoring the infrastructure.
