Following the approval, on appeal, of the Thainstone Business Park extension, further details, including landscaping proposals, have now been submitted for the site, marked red in the photograph below.

The site is in the Kintore and District Community Council area.



The proposals are on the Aberdeenshire Council website and comments can be submitted online from now until March 8.



Among the documents are:

• landscape master plan, which includes belts of trees, including silver birch, rowan and Scots Pine, on the downhill side of the development, with strips of trees separating the units on the upper section
• a phasing statement detailing the first and second phase of the development
• proposals for the relocation of the Cammie’s Stone standing stone.
