Two days to go for Tuach Hill

NewsCampaigners against the construction of a bridge and new road across the lower slopes of Tuach Hill are encouraged by the number of objections that have been submitted against the proposal.
But, with just two days left until the deadline for objections they are urging those who oppose the construction of the road from School Road, across the Tuach Burn to the new 600-house Kintore East development.

Most of the objections so far are focussed on straightforward objections road and bridge and point out the option of accessing Kintore East by the existing Carnie Road.
“We need people to take time to read
the application and look at things like landscape, the water, SUDS drainage and flooding issues. We need people to submit comments on other aspects of the development,” commented one of the campaign group today.
“There are a number of points that people will see and immediately think are simply not right. It is important to include the words ‘I object’ to make it clear that you are submitting an objection to the plans.”
The leaflet urges people to submit an objection to the proposed access road either online using the
Aberdeenshire Council website or by letter to:
Planning & Building Standards, Gordon House, Blackhall Road, Inverurie AB51 3WA, quoting APP/2016/2046.
