Wine bar and cafe planned for Midmill

An application has been submitted to Aberdeenshire Council for a change of use for one of the units at the new retail development at Midmill, Kintore. The application is for a change of use from a food take away to a café-wine bar.

The application is for Unit 4 in the new Midmill Parade retail complex which will include the new Sainsbury Local convenience store.

The plans for the 93-square-metre unit have been submitted by Ken Mathieson Architectural Design on behalf of Martin Angus.

The plans show a cafe with setting for around 38 customers, with a bar server, kitchen and other facilities.

Unit four is one of five units in the new development, with the Sainsbury store due to open in around seven to nine weeks time.
