Getting left behind in the digital age?

These days, so much of what we do can be done more efficiently online. But are are computers and the internet still a closed book for you or someone you know? If so, then this may be an opportunity to get online.

Footprints Connect is a social enterprise based In Aberdeen whose aim is to encourage over-55s to get online. They have just recently begun to work in Aberdeenshire and been awarded support from local funders to run free sessions in the local area on March 18 and 25.

Footprints Connect also plan to run some Drop-In sessions in April and these will also be free.

All will be held at Computers and Integration in Inverurie.

The March sessions will run from 11.00 - 1.00 but Footprints Connect encourage people to come a little before to get settled in etc. Please also note that these first sessions will have a capacity of 10 people (in the 55+ age groups) However, they can always take a waiting list and let people know about the Drop-In sessions in April too so they can come along to them.
