Saturday event timetable

10.30am: Kintore Bake Off! - drop off your entries to the Kintore Bake OFF Tent located on the Kintore School Field.

11.00am: Festival Opening (11.00am - 11.20am) - Kintore Pipe Band at Kintore School Field

11.00am The Critter Keeper (11.00am - 11.l+0am) - Creepy crawlies show for 3 years olds and over at Kintore School (Small Hall)

11.30am Live Music (11.30am - li.00pm) - Show case of bands. Organised by Ruby MacKay at Kintore School Field

11.30am Rhymetime (Kintore School Field / Kintore Library) - Weather permitting this will take place on the field, otherwise will be held in the library

11.30am Football Tournament (11.Z'>0am - Finish) - Over 18s only on Kintore School Astro Pitch

11.50am The Critter Keeper (11.50am - 12.30am) - Creepy crawlies show for 3 years olds and over at Kintore School (Small Hall)

12.30pm Allans Magic (12.30pm - 12.50pm) - Magician Allan invites you to join him for a magical time in Kintore School (Large Hall)

12.30pm Kintore Pipe Band (12.30pm - 12.50pm) - at Kintore School Field

1.30pm Allans Magic (1.$0pm - 1.50pm) - Magician Allan invites you to join him for a magical time in Kintore School (Large Hall)

1.30pm Kintore School - Glee Cl b & Music Group - Come along to the Kintore School Field an enjoy some music and singing performed by pupils from Kintore School

2.00pm Love Rara - Balloon Modelling 2.00pm - 4.00pm) - In Kintore School — come along and get yourself a fab balloon model (Entry is FREE however donations are welcome)

2.00pm Children's Races with jogscotland Kintore - Pre-school, P1-P3‘ and P4-P7 age group categories. Those wishing to participate, meet in the middle of the field at 2pm

Coffees & Teas will be on sale at a marquee in the playing field

Kintore Library will be open from 10am to 3.30pm with a display of old papers and a whaling exhibit. Rhymetime will take place at 11.30 am on the playing field.

Licensed Bar, Food & Drink, burgers, hot dogs, baked potatoes and a Hog Roast will take place at various locations on the playing field.

A selection of vintage tractors and fire engines will be outside Kintore School.

Children must be adequately supervised by an adult at all times.

You are welcome to take a rug, or chairs to relax and enjoy the event.

Rock Hunt - Friday May 17

Hunt for the speicially decorated Kintore Summer Festival rocks, which have been hidden around Kintore on Friday, May 17. If you find one, post a photo of it on the Kintore Summer Festival Facebook page and bring it along to the festival on Saturday to pick up a small prize.

Calling all budding bakers!
Dust off the kitchen scales and look out your best recipes!

Age Categories: Primary school / Secondary school / Adult
Categories:Cake and/or Traybake
Entry fee - £2 per entry
Entry forms will be available from Kintore Library and J&G Dossett from the 15th April.
Entry forms and entry fees must be completed and handed in by the 20th May to J&G Dossett or Kintore Library.
There are limited spaces so don’t delay in getting your form in.
Your entry must be handed into the Bake off Tent situated on the Field by 10.30 – Presented ready for display and for judging!

Good luck and remember no soggy bottoms!!

Where: Kintore Playing Fields
Who: This event is open to all Kintore Dogs!

Dogs will be judged in the following classes:
  • Best Puppy under 1 year old
  • Best Bitch
  • Best Dog
  • Best Dog and owner in Fancy dress

Registration must be done in advance. Forms will be available from the 15th April from Kintore Library and J&G Dossett and must be returned to either place by the 20th May.

Kintore Summer Festival 5-a-side Football

Kintore Primary School Playing Fields

Entries are now open for this years 5-a-side football tournament. Matches will take place on the astro turf pitches next to the playing fields.

Please comment or message to register your team. Entries are capped at 7 players per squad (2 subs) and will cost £10 per team. Please avoid delay and get your teams registered early, all teams to be registered no later than 18th May.

Once again EGroup have kindly sponsored the prize money for the event with £150 cash prize to the winning team and £50 to the runners up.
Square bar have kindly donated the prestigious tournament trophy for the winners 🏆

Kintore Summer Festival 5k Fun Run
