Kintore Summer Festival
Festival programme announced
The Kintore Summer Festival 2010 will take place from 11am to 5pm on Saturday, May 22 in The Square, Kintore. To help raise funds for the festival there will be a Quiz Night in the Kintore Public Hall on March 19.
Fancy Dress competition back
By popular request the fancy dress competion is back in 2010. J&G Dossett, the family butcher in The Square, is sponsoring the prizes for the winner and a runner-up. The winner will also get to switch on the Kintore Christmas lights, so that’s something special they can look forward to quite a few months later!

Festival moves to May for 2010
The Kintore Summer Festival in 2010 will take place on the weekend of:
Saturday, May 22
(This move from the traditional second weekend of June is because of the Emmerdale Extravaganza which is due to take place at nearby BA Stores.)
