Kintore Summer Festival 2016


’The Kintore Summer Festival will take place on Saturday, May 21, 2016.

The festival will start with a week-long Treasure Hunt around Kintore with prizes awarded on the day of the festival to those with correctly completed answers! Look out for details on our Facebook page on where to get a list of clues to help you find the answers.

On Tuesday 17th May there will be the Kintore 5k Fun Run which will be held at the Kintore School and start at 6:30pm. Entry forms will be available from JG Dossett Butchers or on the day.

On Thursday 19th May we will be having a singalong music session, provided by Mary Burnett & Friends, for the residents at Provost Lawrence Court and Airlie House which will take place at Provost Lawrence Court at 2.00pm.

The main festival will take place on Saturday 21st May 2016, from 11am to 4pm. The festival will be held in the playing field beside the Kintore School and also indoor activities being held within and around the school itself.


A full list of events and timetable will be detailed on our Festival Brochure which will be posted through your door and also available on the day.

Please remember that the festival is organised by local volunteers and we would really appreciate some more members on the committee to help out. If you are interested in joining our committee to make the Kintore Summer Festival bigger and better then please get in touch.

The committee are also looking for helpers on the day to assist with the festival, even for an hour or two would be much appreciated. Please call Colin Anthony on 01467 634850 if you can help out.
