On Friday 8th May 2009 the Crime Reduction Unit launched its new Crimedesk Radio Show on North East Community Radio at Kintore. The show format consists of the following:

Weekly Topic
This will be mainly Crime Reduction based but it is hoped that this will develop into guest speakers from within Aberdeenshire Division speaking about their role. It will be seasonal, reflect trends and developing crime patterns. It will also be used in conjunction with initiatives.

Stolen Property Appeals
Appropriate selection of items will be chosen from the preceding fortnight and appeals made.

Enquiry Appeals
This section is open ended and allows any undetected/outstanding enquiry to be highlighted and an appeal for information/witnesses to be made.
