Present:
Councillor Nan Cullinane, Councillor Martin Ford, Councillor Fergus Hood, Ann Marston, Sheila Gray, Drew Cullinane, Kevin Watt and PC Sandra Duncan

Apologies:
Kenny Thomson (Chairman), Joan Thomson (Treasurer), Lesley Monaghan and Linda Paterson.

Welcome:
Drew opened the meeting and welcomed everyone.

Minutes of Previous Meeting (20th March 2012):
Minutes Approved by Sheila Gray and Ann Marston.

Police Report:
A Police report was received and PC Sandra Duncan attended the meeting.

Matters Arising from the Previous Minutes:
Leaflets – there are still some leaflets to be delivered. Kevin has volunteered to do this.
Blackburn to Kintore Cycleway – Nan provided an update on this. Linda Mathieson will look at the Braehead farm as a possible route.
Football pitches are progressing
Tuach Hill – no update
Cairnhall Wall – no update
Public Hall – Nan provided an update on this. Work was completed last August. The leak has never been reported by the committee. The matter is now in hand with the Council.
Safelift – this has been reported to Alan Davidson, no further information.

Treasurers Report:
No Update

Youth Report:
No Update

Planning Matters:
There is 1 planning matter:
1 – Extension at Kintore Business Park, one of the units is to be extended.
Nothing else Significant.

In addition – Town Park, there was a planning application, it was recommended for refusal. It has now been withdrawn.

Correspondence:
Aberdeenshire Council have sent out a notification of a road closure in Kintore. Castleview Way will be closed (from its junction with Castleview Ave and Halforest Ave) on 4 June 2012 for 1 day for a street party to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee.

Aberdeenshire Council Update:
Planning Permission has been granted for a small wind turbine at Roslin Croft, it will be 20 metres high.

A.O.C.B.:
Kevin went with Hamish McDonald to Fintray to gather support for the proposed mixed use gateway development.
4th June (Diamond Jubilee) – will the flag be flying, Councillors to find out.
Consultation on affordable housing – Kevin will complete this but will complete on behalf of himself.
Clock on Town House – requires maintenance, unsure when this will be done.
Water at the end of Dinnie Place, blocked drain. Nan will report this to the Council.
Gardening competition is ongoing.
